Cheap Weekend Spending

Due to the bad falling day of payday it had to be a quiet one this weekend. Managed to keep spending below £10.00 to keep me within monthly budget:

bottle wine – £4.50
stilton – £2.59
sherbert dib dabs – £1.20

Didn’t spend anything yesterday

Budget Remaining: £102.84

Had a good couple of days but have already spent money this morning, but it won’t be on the blog until Monday. How will you manage the weekend not knowing what it was on?!

Not a Good Start

Quite an expensive day yesterday considering I’m supposed to be saving.

Panini for lunch -£2.65 (could have brought my lunch to work)

Dinner – £57.26 inc tip (used a 50% off voucher so could have been much worse.)

I’ve just been paid and its going to be a bit tight in feb, but as its only a short month I’ve decided to set a budget of £200 to cover general spending after bills and groceries.  We’ll see how it goes.

Trying to Save

Well I’m trying to save a bit of money, it being January and everything so hoping by keeping a track of it all it’ll help me. Or just scare me. Probably not the best day to start as I’m going out for dinner tonight, got a voucher though so not too bad.
