Had a very thrifty week so far, not spent a thing. Think the skincare spending came at an ideal time really, I think I’m going pretty well this month, I don’t think I’d have managed to get it into another month’s budget.

FRIDAY:
Parking: £2.00
SATURDAY:
Skincare: £75.50 (Clarins Cleanser, Toner, Moisuriser & Exfoliator) Its all about cost per use with this one, based on previous experience I reckon the cleanser, toner and exfoliator will last 6 months and the moisturiser will last 4 months. Therefore cost per use will be roughly 26p or 52p per day. And maybe spending 52p per day on skincare will delay having to spend £1000 on a face lift further down the line.
SUNDAY:
Parking: £2.00
Total Spend: £79.50

FRIDAY:
Round of drinks: £12.20.
SATURDAY:
Pub lunch with a friend, Nachos and Diet Coke: £4.35. What a bargain?! And if you don’t have the right toppings for Nachos, it would appear that its fine to make a couple of sly substitutions providing that it all still looks the same. No salsa? No problem, just whack on a bit of sweet chilli sauce. Sour cream? Oh no, garlic mayonaise. Luckily the guacamole was actually guacamole, I dread to think what other green fruit or veg they’d be pureeing if they’d run out of that. The nacho lottery was actually rather nice though.
SUNDAY:
More bargains to be had, bought a dress and a jacket for £22.
McDonalds lunch: £5.28. Charged for a McNuggets Happy Meal when I actually ordered a McNuggets extra value meal, but they couldn’t be bothered to start making the changes on the till so saved £1.30.
Total Weekend Spending: £43.83
