I was doing so well but the Pizza Hut buffet was just too tempting, I’m now -£3.85 for the month. But I’m thinking that I bought £50 shoes which I wouldn’t normally have bought so could actually have come in at just over £150 if I hadn’t bought them.

25th Mar 08 – Hard Labour Aids Frugality
Well I had £73.03 to last me the bank holiday and somehow I seem to have managed it.
I went for a curry on Thursday evening which was £15.00. Then I spent the weekend at a friend’s holiday cottage helping him decorate ready for it start being rented. Beers and lunches were paid for by him so that just left evenings to be covered. However, after a hard day’s labour none of us were capable of much more than a meal out and then bed. Pub grub and a Chinese banquest cost me £40.00 in total.
Therefore I had £18.03 to last me the last day of the bank holiday, suncream was Buy One Get One Free at £9.89 and then a bottle of aftersun at £1.99 leaves me with £6.15.
So I’ve got £6.15 to last me until the 28th, when I go on holiday. (I’m not logging that spending though, it is a holiday after all!)

Not spent anything so far this week so my budget still stands at £73.03, however I’m now going out for a curry tonight and then going away for the weekend with a group of friends. I don’t think £73.03 is going to stretch that far so I might have to get the credit card out!

I’m going away for Easter weekend with a group of friends, so I’m going to try to not spend anything this week so that I can use the rest of my budget then. Then luckily I’ve only got to last until the 27th because I go on holiday and have already got my holiday fund set aside (not that its very much)
